We had a great time on our first ever chapter campout, despite the fact that it was a winter campout with temperatures hovering around the freezing point overnight. One advantage to the colder temps was that it got everyone to enjoy a lot of time by the fire to reminisce on past campouts and shares lots of laughs and good times. We worked on a reviewed our Wilderness Survival Skills and even spent some time helping clean up the lake shore while the lake was down. Sunday morning was beautiful and crisp, as the sun came up over the water we held a Scouts Own Service around a morning campfire. A great end to a great trip.
